This privacy policy describes how Frinet Tmi (“Frinet”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data in connection with the frinet.fi website. We comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Finnish data protection legislation.

What we collect
The frinet.fi website itself uses no cookies, analytics or tracking. Personal data reaches us only in these cases:
- When you email us: we receive what you choose to send — such as your name, your email address and your message — and use it only to answer and handle your inquiry.
- Server logs: our hosting provider automatically logs standard technical information (such as IP address, browser type and time of access) for security and operations.
If you switch between the light and dark theme, your choice is kept in your own browser's local storage. It is never sent to us.
How we use it
- To answer your inquiries and communicate with you;
- To keep the website secure and reliable;
- To meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.
How long we keep it
Correspondence is kept only as long as it is needed to handle your inquiry and any follow-up, and then deleted. Server logs are kept for our hosting provider's standard retention period.
Sharing
We do not share personal data with third parties, except with the service providers needed to run the website and our email (such as our hosting provider), or when the law requires it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted;
- object to or restrict its processing;
- lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
